The impact of any ministry is not determined by how many hours are spent, but how a ministry spends its hours. We believe that spending hours with hurting people in the hospital is worth every second of our time. Parkway Baptist ministries find that emptying ourselves into people’s lives, make our lives full. We want the families in the hospital to know that each lunch is prepared with love, prayer, and a way for us to place value on them during their time of need.
The Hospital Ministry provides lunches to Hutcheson Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, GA on the second Friday of each month. Volunteers are asked to meet in Boatner Hall to help prepare sack lunches, and then distribute them to the families in the ICU waiting rooms.
