Nursery Ministry
Theme Verse: I Corinthians 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed.”
The ages of our nursery are birth - 24 months. The nursery is fully equipped with nursery toys, restrooms, accessible sinks, and your child’s own locker for their personal belongings. However, we do ask that you please bring a bottle, diapers, (pacifier if needed), and a snack if your child or children tend to get hungry between the hours of 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
Missional Purpose
Our nursery is adequately equipped with loving and caring workers who enjoy carefully tending to your child or children, during our worship services. We genuinely believe that the nursery at Parkway Baptist is a ministry to parents and children. We clearly understand the stress that can accompany raising a family in today's culture. We want to temporarily relieve some of the stress by creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for your child when spending time with us in service.
Nursery Security
For security and peace of mind, our nurseries are fully equipped with security cameras. Furthermore, our nursery is suitably equipped with parent pagers for quick and easy access. Pagers will immediately alert the parent if your child cannot be comforted without your direct assistance during the time spent with us. To receive a nursery pager, ask one of our delightful nursery workers how to secure one when bringing your child to the nursery.

If you would like an extensive tour of our nursery facility, I would love the opportunity to meet with you and your child and introduce your family to our ministry. Please note that our nursery workers are available 15 minutes before each service for your convenience.
Mom's Day Out

1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
The purpose of having a ministry, such as Lively Stones, is to provide an additional arm of outreach from Parkway Baptist to our community. We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with children. Your child can plan on a lot of activities in singing, learning, and laughing in every experience. Lively Stones Mom's Day Out offers a flexible program to help your child develop fundamental social skills. Our staff will assist your child in learning how to participate in a group, share with others, learn new games and songs, and most importantly, learn how God loves them.

Kids Power: Children's Church
Educating each child about the love of the Lord Jesus Christ is our passion at Parkway Baptist. Your children will enjoy what they experience in the children's church. Parents, we encourage you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to develop your child's spiritual formation. Enroll them in the Kids Power Children's Church this Sunday!

Goal
Our goal is driven by our spiritual ambition to forge an environment where faith, fun, and friends bond seamlessly. We aim to guide children on an awe-inspiring expedition of faith and nurture a meaningful connection with God. Picture this: Scripture comes alive through our use of media ministry tools, biblical videos, worship music, and interactive games that create an exciting learning atmosphere.
Time
The children's church ministry is available for ages K-5th grade every Sunday. After our time of worship music ends, the children will be dismissed from the main auditorium, and our staff will direct the children to meet in Children's Church.
Sunday School
The Sunday School ministry at Parkway Baptist is designed for children and youth from 2 years old through High School, creating an environment focused on spiritual formation through teaching God’s Word. Younger students are taught using a biblically balanced curriculum that provides a strong foundation in Scripture. Older students engage in intentional, discussion-driven classes led by the Youth Pastor, who utilizes expositional teaching to guide them through deeper understanding and application of the Bible. This ministry equips students at every age to grow in their faith and knowledge of God.

AWANA Ministry

Schedule and Start Times:
The Awana program runs throughout the school year. We begin club in August and run the program through May. Club time is 6:30 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday nights. All children are welcome. Email for more information.
